It is both a great honor and genuine privilege to serve as the 30th president of The University of Alabama. Together, we stand on the strong foundation built by those who came before us and are positioned for bold opportunities on the horizon.
Each year, the Premier Awards allow us to recognize the very best of the Capstone: students, faculty, staff and community members who exemplify academic excellence, integrity, service, leadership and community. As the University’s highest honors, these awards reflect who we are at our best.
The nomination and application period opens September 1. The deadline for nominations, applications and all supporting materials is November 5 at 11:59 p.m. All members of the UA community may nominate qualified students, faculty and staff. Only students may apply. Full details and forms are available on the Premier Awards website.
The Premier Awards do more than celebrate individual achievement. They highlight the values and excellence that define our University. Thank you for helping us honor those who inspire us all. I look forward to recognizing this year’s recipients at the spring banquet.
